ABOUT THE CULTURAL CURATOR

'The Cultural Curator' was founded in 2008 by Jacqueline Stein.
A perennial passion for culture, human rights, fashion and the written word led Jacqueline to establish 'The Cultural Curator' blog, which gradually evolved into theculturalcurator.com.
Jacqueline has had her writing featured in Bust, Faze and Photographers without Borders magazines, and in various online publications, and has engaged audiences internationally on the subject of young leadership.
When she isn’t hopping planes, trains, or automobiles (or even when she is), you’ll find Jacqueline working on a project close to her heart: creating a global ‘archive’ of women leaders (aka: “Nasty Women”) worldwide, whose change-making efforts are contributing to the world in extraordinary ways.
LOGO DESIGN

Along with visually incorporating who The Cultural Curator is and what she is all about, I wanted to somehow take advantage of the alliteration, and have the 2 Cs graphically represented somehow without turning it into the classic Chanel logo. Below are the logos I came up with with those things in mind, prior to creating "the one".

After some discussions, feedback, about 8 different sketches & AI artboards, this 8th one was what made both Jacqueline and I take a moment and say, "This is it."
The visual element of the rose gold globe inside the 2 C's I think embodies the very definition of who The Cultural Curator is: a woman who puts a spotlight on inspiring women worldwide, whose change-making efforts are contributing to the world in extraordinary ways.
